Born in Germany 1996, Antonia was fascinated by film and the dramatic arts early on in her life and began to work in film and theatre at the age of 15. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 21 to study theatre and dance after dropping her art history and history studies in Munich. Feeling limited with dance and theatre arts and her possibilities of expression, she switched her major to film. After studying film production in California for 2 years, Antonia transferred to Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver to explore a rather experimental / artistic approach of filmmaking. Having learned mainstream cinema production on one hand and filmmaking as an experimental art form on the other, she moved back to Munich in 2021 to begin her studies in Directing at the University of Television and Film.
