2005. Dessau. A Man, in custody, burned to death. No sign of evidences. False statements. Cause of fire is open. In 2005 Oury Jalloh burned to death in his cell on a slow burning mattress. He was handcuffed and his feet where shackled. Until now it is unsure what caused the fire. Court convictions are overlaid with each other, representing the conflicts of the courtroom. These sounds are juxtaposed with a hatching butterfly that dies in the process; a metaphor for death and the truth which failed to come to light. Flimmern und Rauschen//2016
