When the ten year old Clara plays the wrong notes at a school concert, her father Thomas tries to help her out. But Thomas has got a drinking problem and is socially simply out of touch. Instead of saving the situation he embarrasses her even more. And also during the after event, his offending nature means he just does not fit in. Torn between shame and love for her father, Clara wants to leave the event as soon as possible and hopes that he doesn’t attract negative attention before they leave.
